Recently, Tawfeer Supermarket shared through their social media accounts a post about free delivery on all orders ranging from 300,000 LBP and above for one day only, between 5 PM and 10 PM. These offers are announced as well through their mobile app on different days. This comes after seeing the massive increase in delivery fees from different stores and restaurants to address the salary gap that delivery workers face. Although it wasis for a limited time, the "free delivery" day showed customers a different approach to Tawfeer's continuous offers and promotions.

 

This constant move towards introducing new offers every day has never been at the expense of the products' quality. According to Rami Bitar, discount stores are the least affected by the economic recession. This is mainly because of the basic life necessities that discount stores sell, thus making it nearly impossible for citizens to avoid buying from them.

 

After being one of the few or only sectors that aren't affected by economic downturns, Bitar believes that this is the central pillar in having more promotions and offers. For this reason, giving customers the chance to enjoy free delivery is more than applicable. Through free delivery, customers will not worry about any additional fees. It is the kind of a win-win situation that Tawfeer always looks forward to ensuring within its stores.

 

By introducing this one-day concept, Tawfeer Supermarkets once again stood out. They showed customers the kind of innovationconsideration and understanding they are always keen on representing and being part of. While many believe that the concept of free delivery is trivial, many customers have been refraining from the delivery process due to a massive increase in the delivery fees. For this reason, Tawfeer Supermarket once again proved itself as the kind of store that prioritizes the customers' needs.
